April 2021 Evolutions topics and expertise network

This monthly infographic update shows the evolutions in Cronycle Topics and Expertise Network, for April 2021.

What is a Cronycle Topic?

A smart aggregation of information combining artificial intelligence and human expertise. We analyse content from millions of online sources identified by our expertise network, identify semantics, and surface information relevant to each Topic. Learn more.

Topics evolutions for April 2021

  • 40,489 Topics with communities
  • 87,375 Topics in total, including locations, events, and alternate forms

This month, we have 330 new Topics. Those worth mentioning include (with number of influencers in the community):

Non Fungible Tokens – 1,644
Sales Enablement – 629
US Open Golf – 85

Why add new Topics?

We create new Topics when our system identifies emerging subjects, when requested by our customers, and to improve clarity of earlier versions.

For this month of April 2021 evolutions, we see two new Topics surface as they gain maturity – Non Fungible Tokens and Sales Enablement. They have both been consolidated so you should see high relevance.

A Non Fungible Token is data stored on a blockchain that can represent a unique digital item, like art. This is timely as the digital artwork market is growing, like we saw in last months record sale by Christie’s.

Sales Enablement is one use case for Cronycle. It is a growing practice and community around enabling sales team with the right tools, information and assets. Definitely one to follow if you deal with sales or marketing.

The last Topic worth mentioning this month is US Open Golf. We used to have US Open as a Topic, which could represent either the Golf or Tennis tournaments. We separated them and worked on disambiguation to have US Open Golf and US Open Tennis as two clear Topics (as well as US Open Cup for soccer).

What is the Cronycle Expertise Network?
